January Update

I will be traveling for four months beginning in mid April, which will take me through both Birmingham, AL and Los Angeles, CA. Dates have not been finalized yet, but I’m scheduled to be in Birmingham for some support raising from mid April through the end of May, then in California for two weeks before heading out to the Philippines for some Servant Partners Training. I will also make my way to a Leadership Development Collaboration put on by four separate organizations that focus on transformational ministries amongst the urban poor (Servants to Asia’s Poor, Servant Partners, Word Made Flesh, and Inner Change) at the end of April.

✴Pray for the many adjustments of the new interns as they learn to work
together as a team and build relationships in their new community.
✴Pray for P’ Kaew and the Serimin project. For the new housing project to be
opened soon and for God to begin working in the hearts of those He is leading
to relocate there. Pray for P’ Kaew’s son, Oui, to adjust well to his new home.
✴Pray for the ongoing projects and educational/health initiatives with Siam
Care. Pray that God will use those events to help people live healthier
lifestyles and to build relationships between the community and the church.
✴Pray for wisdom as we consider new community transformation initiatives,
including addressing citizenship issues in several of our communities and
building a community center in Phoothong.
✴Pray for Jin as she travels home to the Northeast part of Thailand to care for
her aging parents. Pray she will find a new Christian fellowship in the area.
✴Praise God we are seeing the multiplication of small discipleship groups
meeting regularly in our churches. Pray for wisdom as we develop a support
structure for our discipleship leaders that will encourage them without
adding more burdensome meetings to their already busy schedules.
